StataCorp partners with Instats
StataCorp held our very first training, "Using Stata Effectively", back in May 2008 in Washington, DC. Since then, we have expanded our offerings to 13 courses, offered online and in person across the globe. Led by Stata experts, these 14- to 16-hour courses provide in-depth knowledge of statistical topics and their implementation in Stata.
Now we are excited to announce a new partnership to make these trainings even more accessible.
We are partnering with Instats, a mission-driven organization devoted to improving research practices by facilitating expert-led training for researchers across a broad range of fields. This partnership provides global research communities with the cutting-edge tools and immediate support necessary to drive impactful science.
Fittingly, our first training on this new platform will be "Using Stata Effectively", which will be held October 6–9, 2026.
What is staying the same? Rest assured, the core Stata training experience you know and trust will not change. We will still provide our own expert Stata trainers, our comprehensive course materials, and short-term Stata licenses for attendees.
What is new? Instats will now handle course enrollments and host the live sessions via their Zoom platform. Most importantly, Instats will edit the session videos and post them as recorded trainings that you can watch at your own pace.
