Webinar: Multilevel meta-analysis

Overview

Duration: 1 hour
Where: Join us from anywhere!
Cost: Free—but registrations are limited

Description

Reaching a conclusion when there are multiple studies with inconclusive or conflicting evidence is daunting. Meta-analysis aims to combine results from many studies into one unified final conclusion, when possible. Stata’s meta suite of commands provides meta-analytic support to compute effect sizes, examine heterogeneity, explore publication bias, and much more.

Stata 18 introduced two new commands, meta meregress and meta multilevel, to perform multilevel meta-analysis to study effect sizes that are nested within higher-level groupings such as regions or schools. In this webinar, we provide a brief introduction to meta-analysis before demonstrating how to include random effects at different levels of hierarchy, perform sensitivity analysis, and assess heterogeneity across studies in a multilevel meta-analysis.

How to join

The webinar is free, but you must register to attend. Registrations are limited so register soon.
