We’re excited to welcome David Roodman, economist and public policy consultant, for Stata Happy Hour on Thursday, 3 December at 3:30 p.m. CST. David spent 11 years as a fellow at the Center for Global Development, has worked with the Worldwatch Institute and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and is currently a Senior Advisor at Open Philanthropy. David has focused his research on economic development in poorer countries, micro finance, and third-world debt, among other topics.

We’re pleased to welcome Ken Bollen, distinguished professor in the department of psychology and neuroscience and the department of sociology at UNC Chapel Hill, for Stata Happy Hour on Thursday, 10 December at 3:30 p.m. CST. Dr. Bollen’s primary areas of research are in structural equation models, longitudinal methods, and latent growth curve models.
