Stata Press is the publishing arm of StataCorp. Stata Press publishes books, manuals, and journals about Stata and general statistics topics for professional researchers of all disciplines. The Stata Journal is a quarterly journal containing articles about statistics, data analysis, teaching methods, and effective use of Stata’s language. The journal publishes reviewed papers together with shorter notes and comments, regular columns, book reviews, and other material of interest to researchers applying statistics in a variety of disciplines.

Statalist is an independently-moderated forum where Stata users actively exchange information about using and programming Stata. You may also wish to visit the Statalist FAQ.

There are several Stata conferences and users group meetings held each year. The meetings provide an opportunity for Stata users to interact and attend talks where new Stata programs or ideas are presented. Occasionally there are short courses offered by experienced Stata users on a particular statistical topic where Stata is used extensively in the course. Course announcements are made on the Short courses page.
