Stata has satisfied Year 2000 compliance on all platforms for which Stata/SE, Stata/IC, and Small Stata are available since Release 4.0, January 1995.
Extensive automated test scripts have been run on all platforms for which Stata is available. Since Stata is programmable, Stata users can add their own commands to Stata. We cannot guarantee, of course, that community-contributed commands satisfy Year 2000 compliance, but given how Stata is structured, a user would have to work at making a program that is not compliant.
