Hi Setor,

Prior to posting to the Statalist, you were asked to read the FAQ (the link is at the bottom of all emails). One of the standards of releasing packages into the public sphere is to include a version statement in the program file. Because authors may find bugs, add additional options, or optimize the performance of the package there can be multiple versions of the same program floating around in cyber space. From the command line, type -which metatrim- and that should provide you with the version information. It is possible that the problem you're facing is due to out-of-date software, in which case the fix is simple. However, if that is not the case, it is helpful for others to be able to replicate your problems which would require them to use the same version of the program.

HTH,
Billy

You have given us the author, but that typically remains constant over versions, so that does not help us resolve this issue.
