,

I am doing spatial regression with spmlreg after creating the weighing matrix with spwmatrix for a fixed number of neighbors.

The problem is that when I work with a fixed number of neighbors the contiguity matrix is asymmetric and so some eigenvalues will be complex.

However, the spmlreg function does seem to allow for the imaginary part of the eigenvalues: it simply ignores them.

Is there a way to run spmlreg by using not only the real part of the eigenvalues, but also their imaginary part, if present?

Thank you.
