Subject | st: Alternatives to shared-frailty models for controlling unobserved heterogeneity in stcox |
Date | Tue, 20 Aug 2013 17:29:56 +0000 |
Dear all I would like to estimate a Cox model on unemployment duration and control for individual unobserved heterogeneity. The estimation of shared-frailty model using the shared() option in --stcox-- takes a tremendous amount of time. I wonder whether there are any alternatives under --stcox-- or other semi-parametric modelling commands which can control for unobserved heterogeneity. Thank you very much in advance.
