Hi Roger,

As you know, I am a big fan of your suite of programs to extract results and
then present them in either table or graphic displays. That said, Stata has
done a great job with -margins- and -marginsplot- to perform a lot of what
your programs do.

I was hoping that -marginsplot- could do this, so that I wouldn't have to
bring in the heavy artillery (your programs) :-)

If -marginsplot- cannot currently provide observation labels as an option,
perhaps the folks at Statacorp who follow the list can note of this as
something for the annual wishlist?

I would be very surprised if this kind of thing couldn't be done using
- -parmest- followed by -eclplot-, possibly with a bit of help from
- -descsave-, depending on what exactly what you want to do and how you
want to derive the marker labels. To use -parmest- after -margins-, I
usually use the options

bmatrix(r(b)) vmatrix(r(V))

to access the estimates from -margins- instead of from the estimation
command, and to be able to extract other e() results using the -escal()-
and -emacro()- options. The -parnest-, -descsave- and -eclplot- packages
can all be downloaded from SSC.

Best wishes

Roger
