Dear all,

I am using Stata/SE 10.0 in a Windows XP system. When I run the command below:

xi: xtabond2 lnlabprod lnrdep1 lnrdtotinst1 lnintspilst1 for_share lnrdspilst41 i.year if avrdexp~=0 & count3b>4, gmm(lnrdep1 lnrdtotinst1 lnintspilst1 for_share lnrdspilst41, laglimits (2 4) collapse) twostep robust

I receive the following error message:

(max() in lmatabase, compiled by Stata 10.1, is too new to be run by
 this version of Stata and so was ignored)
 xtabond2_mata(): 3499 max() not found<istmt>: - function returned error

I think one way to deal with this problem is to update Stata to version 10.1. However, I am working on the computers of an official statistics institute and they are willing to update Stata only once a month ? so how can I resolve this problem without updating Stata 10.0 ?

Thanks for your help !

Teoman
