GreetingsI tried the solution mentioned in the link mentioned by Martin, but I found the same problem that reg jordan referred to. I ran -graph hbox bp, yline(10)- and the line was placed horizontally on the graph in Stata version 11. When I ran the command -graph hbox bp, yline(130)- in Stata 10, the line was placed vertically. Methinks there is some misbehavior with -graph hbox- and -yline()- in Stata version 11. For now, I like Martin's workaround of using the graph editor until this is fixed.

According to Hamilton (Statistics with Stat v9), you could do the same using hbox. Apparently one cannot use this command with Stata11. Any suggestions about how to draw a line using hbox?
