Dear Statalsist members,

I was wondering whether there is a command for STATA to conduct a
simultaneous equation model when one (endogenous) dependent variable
is an ordinal variable (e.g., 5 levels of hostility in MIDs) and the
other is a continuous dependent variable (e.g., trade openness).
I only find the "cdsimeq" command for a simultaneous model when one
(endogenous) dependent variable is a dichotomous variable and the
other is a continuous variable.
It is highly appreciated if anyone could help. Otherwise, I have to
start to learn R for the resolution.
Thank you!

Best,

Eric
