Dear Statalist,
Long time listener, first time caller. I am running "psmatch2" with the following command: "psmatch2 tenowny4 if comsup4_y4==1, cal(.25) n(5) p(lo_y4) nocommon"

When I run "tab _weight", I find that the most of the weights are not whole numbers (e.g. .2, .8, 1.6, 5.4). I am trying to match the nearest 5 untreated individuals to 1 treated individual within the specified caliper (.25). I would expect that the weight for each individuals would be a whole number.

Can someone please explain why I do not get a positive integer for my weights?

Thank you very much,

Jeff Diebold
