Thanks a lot, Kit, your suggestion worked perfectly. 

I'm bit puzzled, though, given that I tried a similar code before
posting my cry for help... This is what I typed:

ssc install smfit, all replace

Yet, the smfit_ll.do did not show up. 

One explanation is that I tried the line above very late last night...
