I have not examined the materials available via Stata from the
University of Michigan site, but the files accompanying the NASUG2007
presentation are clearly version 10 code. Some of the files' names
refer to version 9, but midas.ado requires version 10. You will need
to upgrade (a good idea in any event) or contact the author regarding
the availability of this software for earlier versions of Stata.
