st: Error message: adosubdir not allowed

Dear Statalisters

I updated my ado-files this morning, and now receive an error message
when using the -sysuse- command:

 sysuse dir
  auto.dta   (etc)   // working fine

. sysuse auto
adosubdir not allowed
r(101);

Can anyone help with what's happened?
