Dear all,

I would like to estimate various duration models using the European Community Household Panel dataset (ECHP), a paneldata set of eight waves. However, I am a STATA-novice, and the on-line lessons of Stephen Jenkins (useful as they are) unfortunately are not very elaborate when it comes to discrete duration models.

I therefore am looking for literature on how to estimate discrete duration models (preferably discrete competing risk models) and handle attrition in STATA. Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,

Gijs
