Yes, there are many places where you can find free MRI data.
A couple of them are:
The fmri data center: http://www.fmridc.org/f/fmridc
other places with freely available datasets are:
The SPM website: http://www.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk/spm/
and the FSLwebsite http://www.fmrib.ox.ac.uk/fsl/

I would be very much interested to know if you are using Stata to analyze brain imaging data.
