The "Saved Settings" tab in the General Preferences dialog is for adding, deleting, and applying saved preferences. For example, you can organize your windows in a configuration that is suitable for a projector and then save the settings. You can then load the settings later by applying them from the "Saved Settings" tab or selecting them from the Stata > Preferences > Manage Preferences menu. A more descriptive name would've been "Manage Preferences" and we'll probably change it in a future update. -- Kerry Kammire, StataCorp kkammire@stata.com * * For searches and help try: * http://www.stata.com/help.cgi?search * http://www.stata.com/support/faqs/resources/statalist-faq/ * http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/
