Amen. STatTransfer is very useful to me. I assume they have Stata 13 compatability
I don't know how the two products came to be so wedded, but Stat/Transfer always comes out with a new version when Stata does. You do have to be careful in that sometimes things get lost or modified in translation because the new format can't handle something that Stata does. But any conversion routine will face that problem.

As a sidelight, I probably only use Stat/Transfer a few times a year, but it is invaluable when I do. ------------------------------------------- Richard Williams, Notre Dame Dept of Sociology OFFICE: (574)631-6668, (574)631-6463 HOME: (574)289-5227 EMAIL: Richard.A.Williams.5@ND.Edu WWW: http://www.nd.edu/~rwilliam * * For searches and help try: * http://www.stata.com/help.cgi?search * http://www.stata.com/support/faqs/resources/statalist-faq/ * http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/ * * For searches and help try: * http://www.stata.com/help.cgi?search * http://www.stata.com/support/faqs/resources/statalist-faq/ * http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/
