Hi Alesha, Is there any reason why you wouldn't want to use the default Stata editor? Smultron is an excellent text editor for mac that hasn't been mentioned yet. I has awesome Stata syntax highlighting. It used to be open source (and free in price) but now costs $5 USD. This is may be a deterrent for your students, but it is great. http://www.peterborgapps.com/smultron/ Carl Severson * * For searches and help try: * http://www.stata.com/help.cgi?search * http://www.stata.com/support/faqs/resources/statalist-faq/ * http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/
