Dear Maarten,
You're completely right.
I have both versions of Stata, 11 & 12 and it is no problem for me if I didn't tell the version first. but not all of the group I worked with have the newest version.
But I myself go through Stata 11 to find the answer and I know that general command is different there. I read the help of Stata11 but didn't find any counterpart for my question.
This is the reason I asked it again. Besides I do not want to waist your time or of other members, I just think maybe maybe my questions be didactic for other honorable members. That's all.
And I'm sorry if I waist your time or of the other respectable members.

Thank you for understanding.
With kind regards,
Amir Kasaeian

How could we have known that you had Stata 11? I am not telepathic and
I am not willing to hack your computer to see which version of Stata
is on it. I guess the same is true for most other members of the
Statalist. For that reason we have to assume something when you don't
mention which version you are using, and the default, as documented in
the Statalist FAQ, is to assume that you have the latest version of
Stata unless you say otherwise. By not reading the FAQ carefully
enough you have wasted your own time and, more importantly, the time
of the people that originally answered your question. This is why it
is so important to read  the Statalist FAQ before posting on
Statalist.
