That was my first thought (that it was some sort of IP address, at any
rate), with the "dotted quad" format, but the numbers are often outside
the 1-256 range. Also, I have the client IP address, and there seems to
be no fixed relationship (except that repeated hits from the same IP
*usually* have the same agent string).
