Subject | st: How can I combine datasets |
Date | Thu, 15 Sep 2011 20:04:34 +0000 |
Hello All, I am currently trying to combine two datasets with different variables over the same five years. Both sets are on the county level, but county definitions change over time. I've tried merge and append, but neither is giving me the results I desire. Is there a simple way of combining these sets such that it only keeps counties that are present in all years and in both sets? Many thanks, Kevin Beckwith Economics Department Salem State University * * For searches and help try: * http://www.stata.com/help.cgi?search * http://www.stata.com/support/statalist/faq * http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/
