st: creating a matrix of medians

Hi,
I have 12 variables: shoe1-shoe11 and segment. The shoe variables show
the number of shoes people own for 11 styles. Segment is a segment
classification: 1 - 4. I need a 4 by 11 matrix with the rows as the
segments and the columns as the styles. The cells should be the median
number of shoes for the segment-style combination. How can I create
this matrix? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Walt
