I have underdispersed panel count data on individuals over the last decade,
and the results of
(((xtpoisson panelcount $xlist if panelcount>-1, re i(id)
est store poisre
xtnbreg panelcount $xlist if panelcount>-1, re i(id)
est store xtnbgre
hausman xtnbgre poisre, alleqs constant)))
seems to be misleading.
Is my stata command for comparing the two models appropriate? if better
command to comand is available in stata to compare the two models then what
is.
Is xtnbreg is appropriate for underdispersed model?
Is there any reason why my results for data on panelcount variable are so. I
am new to statalist and need basic explanation only. Should I chose some
from NB1 or NB2 models?
