>> Venable <venablito@gmail.com> asked: "... is there any documentation
of the order in which colors are used in Stata graphs?"
> Nick Cox <njcoxstata@gmail.com> advised: "Look in the .scheme files
for documentation of default settings."

Where you can also find definitions of the colors in fundamental
parameters. This suggests a mechanism for adding your own named color
(eg IBMblue) but what is the -sequence- command and how do you compute
the parameter?

Eg, color-sienna.style contains

*! version 1.0.0 22dec2002
sequence 740

set rgb "160 82 45"
