Forgive me for obtuse question. I'm using xtnbreg postestimation in meta-analysis. Desired estimates are pooled outcome event rate (not irr; not predicted counts) with RE confidence limits, overall and for covariate levels. Predicted counts and standard errors are straightforward. Other estimates are not direct using an offset. Not sure I'm interpreting iru0 properly and am uncertain how to obtain its SE. I'm new to the margins postest option and can't just the right examples.
If anyone can recommend external readings with examples using an offset or exposure, this would be greatly appreciated.
