Following Statalist convention, you are now reminded that it is to be
assumed that you are using 11.1 unless you specify otherwise. 

Of course, there could be all sorts of reasons why you can't use 11.1
right now: you're too busy to update, you can't update until some
systems administrator does it, you can't afford to buy 11, or whatever.
No one need explain or apologise, but just mention flag the version you
are using. 

And Bill Gould's email underlines what you are missing!

Lots of nice additions. New covariance structures in xtmixed. Syntax
coloring in the Mac Do editor.
