Dear statalist, I'm trying to forecast out-of-sample prediction after fitting trend model. Data set covers 1978-2007. I fitted the model with 1978-2002. Then, when I predict, it only predicts up to 2007. Even after 'tsappend, add(5)' in order to predict '2008-2013', I still get the missing values. How can I predict values out of sample? Many thanks in advance.
