Dear Statalist Members, Thanks to Kit Baum, a new Stata package -mkprofile- is now available for download on SSC: . ssc install mkprofile Description mkprofile creates or edits your profile.do file. Your profile.do file contains the settings you would like Stata to have every time you invoke a Stata session. By default, mkprofile sets your variable label position to 12 and sets your memory to 40m. mkprofile can also be used to just show you a list of all the directories in the order your version of Stata searches for profile.do. Here's the help page in html format: http://fmwww.bc.edu/repec/bocode/m/mkprofile.html Let me know if you have any questions, Dan Blanchette Research Associate Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Duke University's Fuqua School of Business dan.blanchette@duke.edu * * For searches and help try: * http://www.stata.com/help.cgi?search * http://www.stata.com/support/statalist/faq * http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/
