I have a file built in SPSS format, with instructions on how to use SUDAAN in its analysis: "The correct specifications for analyzing Health Benefits 2008 in SUDAAN are: filetype=spss; design=strwr; and nest=newcell, newcell2, or newcell3 depending on the weight being used ... ."

I am unfamiliar with the SPSS/SUDAAN language: is a "nesting variable" the PSU? the stratum? something else entirely? What is the appropriate .svyset?
