I support this position on Word. We need not discuss how widely Word is
used or how much its users typically like it. Those facts can be
presumed but are not compelling here. Its use for this purpose is ruled
out merely by its not being easily available across all the platforms
supported by Stata.
If it were an empirical fact that every Stata programmer used Word, then
it would be discussable as an option, but that's a long way away from
being true. "EASY FOR EVERYONE" (Roy's capitals) just isn't true.
