Dear Statalisters,

I am trying to a regression with analytical weight [aweight] but I also want to account for the design (i.e. clustering and stratification) of the survey I am using. Stata allows control for clustering but it won't let me correct the standard errors for stratification. Below is the error message I get:

xi: reg Depvar indepvar[aweight=Variance], cluster (psu) strata(strata)
i.educatio _Ieducatio_1-4 (naturally coded; _Ieducatio_1 omitted)
i.mpsex           _Impsex_1-2         (naturally coded; _Impsex_1 omitted)
i.sector_employ _Isector_ema1-7 (naturally coded; _Isector_ema1 omitted)
i.hhtype          _Ihhtype_1-6        (naturally coded; _Ihhtype_1 omitted)
option strata() not allowed
r(198);

Any help?

Thanks in advance,

EJ
