Quite often it is possible to get some kind of plain vanilla residual via
-predict- and a second line that you have to come up with yourself - this
wisdom taken straight from Nick`s
http://www.stata.com/statalist/archive/2008-06/msg00005.html

Still, there is usually a very good reason why -predict- provides the
values, and only the values, that it does. What would the residual you have
in mind look like in theory?

Betreff: st: How to get residuals after ologit?

Dear All

Is there any command that I can use to get residuals after the ologit
estimation? Seems "predict" can not be used here.

Thanks,

Bill
