Courtesy of Kit Baum, a new package, -dirtools-, written by Roy Wada and
myself, is available on SSC. The package contains tools that simplifies
browsing files in specific directories. It contains:

- 5 programs returning lists of Stata files in the current working
directory. The file names are featured by a list of click-able links for
doing some typical tasks with the files. You can, for example, describe,
use, or erase ".dta" files by clicking on respective links in the
Stata result window. (see help lall, ldo, ldta, lsmcl, lgph).

- a program that provides a fast and easy way to open the current
workinkg directory for your viewing pleasure (see help cdout).

- a program that provides a fast and easy way to open the files contents
of any folder for your clicking pleasure (see help clickout)

Users who like Nick Winter's -fastcd- package will perhaps like
-dirtools- too.

Many regards
Uli
