Subject   st: How can I manually generate predicted values without using -predict- , in a logit regression?

Dear Statalisters,

I am running a simple logit regression after which I got my predicted
value via -predict- command.

I was wondering if there was a way I can manually generate my
predicted y-value without using Stata's -predict-.

I first tried generating a linear prediction (xb) (instead of default
pr), then attempted exp(xb)/(1+exp(xb)) but this didn't work.

Any help will be appreciated..
