st: How to sample uniformly over a set of specific observations?

Yeah, I thought so before. That�s a good solution. however, I need to
perform further calculations and drop these variables. So, I would like to
maintain those values in a vector or something like that...to pick up an
observation from it in the next steps of my calculations. Is it possible?
