Hi - After changing one or more variables, (in Stata 9) the -describe-
command reveals that changes have been made, but it doesn't say which
variables have changed. Does anyone know of a way to identify which
variables actually changed? For example, suppose one had 100 variables
and one created a number of new ones and/or modified old ones. Suppose
also that the user wants to keep the new data set only if "important"
variables were created or changed, but that he/she forgot which ones
were modified/created. Otherwise, if the command -save,replace- is
issued without "important" variables being changed, a lot of unwanted
"junk" variables would now be attached to the data set. Therefore it
would be useful to know exactly which variables were changed.
