It looks like "beamer". Googling "latex beamer", for example, should be sufficient to get you started. (IIRC, you are using Mac OS X. If you have Gerben Wierda's installation of teTeX, or the latest MacTeX TeXLive installation, chances are beamer is already on your Mac.) Hope this helps.

I do have GW's installation tool, and finding the beamer site, I tested if I had beamer installed by copying code from the beamer site <http://latex-beamer.sourceforge.net/> (thanks Bernd) to my TeXShop application, and voila, out popped a PDF file that looked like the Stata employee presentation files. Now I can look cool too.
