st0013 was updated by st0013_1 by SJ5-1 and -adoupdate- knew that because 
of the names.  

When Paul did the -adoupdate-, part of what Paul saw was, 

        . adoupdate, update
        <output omitted>
        Packages to be updated are...
 
           [21] st0013       -- SJ2-2 st0013.  A menu-driven facility for
                                complex sample size
        Installing updates...
 
           [21] st0013 using st0013_1

The new st0013_1 package does not include -ssmenu-.  So I typed 

        . ado describe st0013_1
        <output omitted>

and discovered that the new command is -artmenu-; see -help artmenu-.
