Are you putting this command on two lines?  If you had copied the
output from the screen together with the commands, the answer would be
obvious.
You have also paid almost no attention to spaces, which are often
meaningful, and should not be inserted or deleted at will.  Though
your irregular spacing is not the problem here--it is the irregular
use of line breaks, I suspect.
