Thanks to Kit Baum, -parplot- has been updated
on SSC. -parplot- produces parallel coordinate
plots and requires Stata 8 as a minimum.

The update entails various changes:

1. -parplot- had a home-grown -by()- option
that was not quite smart enough to cope with
stuff like

by(catvar, note(""))

This has been fixed.

2. -parplot- had an -identify()- option that
is close in spirit to options elsewhere
called -over()-. Thus the name has been
changed. This will not break anything as
the -identify()- option remains, but it
goes undocumented.

3. I've added a reference to a rather jolly
book

Robbins, N.B. 2005. Creating More Effective Graphs.
	Hoboken, NJ: Wiley.

which may well interest anyone looking for a basic but
sensible introductory graphics book (for their students or
supervisors, naturally).
