Thanks, Ben, for the plug for my -splitvallabels-.

I just updated it a bit and sent a newer version for posting on SSC, I anticipate it will be up and running soon. The new version has two changes:

(1) it no longer wraps the results in a -relabel()- option, so it is now easier to use with -xlabel-, for example.

(2) it lets you specify which values you want to use, if you want fewer than all of them.
