Dear All

Thanks to Kit Baum, there is now a new version of -strdate- on SSC. Type -ssc describe strdate- in Web-aware Stata.

-strdate- replaces a string date variable with a numeric date variable with the same name and position in the sequence of variables (see -help order- and -help move-). The new version fixes a bug which caused the -s2- option not always to work. I would like to thank Kit Baum and his research assistant for discovering this bug and reporting it to me.

Best wishes

Roger
