Type in Stata -sysdir- and look for the path labeled "PLUS". Within
that directory use subdirectories that correspond with the first
letter of the file. So place ivreg2.ado in the subdirectory i. If that
subdirectory does not exist than you can create it. Since this package
includes a Mata library, you'll need to restart Stata once you are
done (there are other ways, but this is the easiest).

Hope this helps,
Maarten

N.B. this way of installing packages is _only_ to be used in
situations where you cannot use the -ssc- command. With the -ssc- you
are much much less likely to mess up your system.
