Andrés,

I highly doubt there is a Stata-based solution to your problem. Depending on your level of comfort with your officemates and who can make administrative changes to the shared drive, you may seek to either restrict access to the directory in question to yourself only, or permit read-only access to all while keeping read/write access for yourself.

Again, not knowing your IT setup, you may have the ability to do this yourself or you may have to go through a SysAdmin.

Thanks,
Steve
