Dear readers

I get an error from spatwmat which I cannot explain.

The file is square (455 rows & columns), and has values 0/1 in each row

 des using d:\gis\india\w1991_457_.dta

Contains data

. use d:\gis\india\w1991_457_.dta, clear
. egen tot = rsum(r*)

. tab tot

Yet when I run spatwmat I get an error.

. spatwmat using "d:\gis\india\w1991_457_.dta", name(w1991_contig)
standardize eigenval(E1)
matrix not symmetric

I am using ver 1.0 of spatwmat
