Dear Statalist,

I wish to calculate the mean of several estimates coming from independent samples with heterogeneous variances and sample sizes. Afterwards I would like to test whether there are significant differences between the mentioned estimates and their common mean. In order to do so, I need to get the standard error and degrees of freedom of this mean.
