Thanks David for your reply.

I am not getting the desired results as i have posed.
i have a panel data for 20 indiviuals over the time period 1990 to
2000. no of variables is 25.
some of the variables values are missing for start and some of the
variables values are missing at the end.

if five or less than five values are missing , then i have to fill
these values.
